Busy Busy Kerri

So my goodness it's been a while! I have been super busy getting my own jewellery site up with my friend! We are doing good and enjoy it all so far!

I'm looking for a few bloggers to send things to for you opinions and maybe featured blog posts so if you are interested get it touch! Mostly I'm going to make this a picture post of what I have been up to!

I said goodbye to my blonde hair and embraced the brunette (also chopped in a fringe!)
I did a car boot to sell some old clothes and some of the jewellery!

It went really well and after the £15 fees were paid off I made an extra £25 not bad for my first go!

My second attempt ever of doing earrings went well! I really like these and want to make a bracelet or necklace to match so I can sell them in since set!

Hyde enjoyed a 10minute cuddle time which was amazing from an animal that generally doesn't like being touched! He has major trust issues!

In other news I'm busy at work and still struggling to fit in blogging! However if I force myself into it I won't enjoy it (the same reason I have not made myself film a new youtube video I months!)

How is the blogging world?

Lots of love

Rimmel Stay Matte Mouse Foundation Review

Let me start by saying I was very very excited for this foundation. I am probably the only person who liked the Maybelline dream matte mouse years ago when it first came out. It was my first foundation and I loved it! So I was excited to see if the formula of a mouse foundation had improved as I do remember it being a little drying!

I picked this up in Asda when Rimmel products were all £5 and under. I always pick up the foundations at this time because it's so cheap!

I picked this up in the shade True Ivory it was the lightest shade available in the store and is the same shade I have in the wake me up foundation and the match perfect foundation. However sadly in this line the foundation it runs dark and very orange on me! No amount of blending will help either! Which is a tad bit disappointing I never understand why foundations from the same company are not the same colour!

I did like the feel of this and it does actually glide on nice. I remember the Maybelline mouse could be a bit difficult to work with but thus was nice. The best way to apply it was with your fingers in my opinion it just gave a more even look. However this clung to dry patches I didn't even know I had! It would work if you had oily skin by it really shows even the slightest amount of dry skin! It clings and clumps to it making it very obvious. Even when moisturising first it made no difference!
This could work well for some people but just really isn't fit for me! Between the dark orange colour and the clumpy look from my dry patches it just looks like I have caked on layers and layers if foundation! I will give this to my sister who has oily skin and see what she thinks of it!

Have you tried this foundation? What did you think ?

Lush Mumkin Review

Today I am reviewing Lush Mumkin I think this was around for Mother's Day and Easter so it might pop up in a sale soon :)

Now I thought mumkin was a bath ballistic so I just chucked it into the bath and was instantly disappointed at the rubbish fizzing! It was then I realised it was a bubble bar!

Stupid points for kerri!

Again as most of these lush reviews there  are mini videos of them in action on my Instagram :) you can find me by looking for allthingskerri

I half expected this to be sweet smelling like most of the pink things from lush are. However it smells a bit like berries so was very nice for me as I prefer the fruity smells.

This also made the water a lovely deep pink colour with a nice amount of bubbles. I don't think it foamed as much as other bubble bars I have had but it was still a nice amount.

There was no oily residue which I have been finding with other lush products. So I really liked that because I am a bit tired of having oily feeling skin and hair! I really would recommend this one as a nice treat that's a bit different from the other lush offerings!

What lush goodies have you tried recently?

Feeling Stretched!

Ever get the feeling that you are doing too much!

I work full time and I am also trying to sell my jewellery online with a friend while trying to blog (unsuccessfully most of the time) trying to be a good step mom be a good girlfriend and fit in a social life!

I can honestly say I feel so tired and over worked it's unbelievable! I feel a bit overwhelmed I need to find a way to let go and relax but I don't know what to do! My usual hobby of writing or making jewellery is sort of becoming my job (especially as the other half keep encouraging me to write the stories that form in my head!)

Should I find a new hobby or just take time to relax and do nothing? Like watch a film or take a long bath! What do you do to relax when you feel like there's too much going on?

New Life Haul

I have spoken before about my love of the store New Life. It is a large charity shop in Cannock and is possibly the closest we have to American style thrift stores. That and the fact your money goes to a worthwhile charity is amazing.

I only got a few items in this visit but they are good!

Some lovely blue and pink swallow patterned pj bottoms! These are really nice and silky and are really thin so perfect for this weather! These were £2.99

A Cinderella patterned t-shirt again a steal at £2.99 and I am planning on cutting off the round neck so it sits a but nicer.

And last but not least a pair of light wash Levi shorts! These probably existed as jeans at some point and the Levi label has been cut off the back because new life has to cut tags out to resell items (crying internally a little bit as I love the Levi label) but the button is still there which is how I know they are Levi! There were quite a few different pairs there too! These were £4.99 AND had 25% off so a complete bargain!

What do you think about charity shop shopping? Do you love it or hate it?

My Jewellery

I am back to making jewellery! I have always loved it and it helps to keep me calm! Something about the repetitive movements I think!

I wanted to share a couple of the things I will be making (also selling in partnership with a friend of mine)

We will be launching a website soon but for the moment you can find us on Facebook by searching - Sublime Kreations or on twitter by tweeting @sublimekreation

Anyway here are a few things I have made :)

What do you think?
